- Leave Motorway A8, Exit »Augsburg Ost« (East)
- Straight on at all junctions following the Mühlhäuser Straße, Hans-Böckler-Straße and MAN-Brücke to the Stadtbachstraße.
- The Stadbachtor visitors car park is on the right hand side after the bridge.
- For the visitors car parks at the Sebastiantor and Buztor continue along the Stadtbachstraße to the T-junction and turn right into the Georg-Haindl-Straße which leads into the Sebastianstraße.

- Take a bus or tram from Augsburg main railway station to the Königsplatz - Change to Line 2 / Augsburg P&R West (Platform E)
- Alight at the Fischertor stop
- Following the tram line, walk under the old gatehouse and turn right into the Thommstraße.
- Follow the Thommstraße to the T-junction with the Sebastianstraße and cross the road.
- To reach the Diesel-Tower turn right and follow the Georg-Haindl-Straße for approx.
200 metres. The entrance to the Diesel-Tower is on the right at the T-junction with the Stadbachstraße.
- To reach the Sebastiantor or Buztor turn left and follow the Sebastianstraße.
