Augsburg, 17th March 2006. The MAN AG Supervisory Board has appointed Dr.-Ing. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen (50) to the company´s Executive Board with effect from 1 July 2006. As of the same date, he will also take over as Executive Board Chairman of the MAN B&W Diesel AG, a subsidiary of MAN AG. The Vice Chairman of the MAN B&W Diesel Group´s Executive Board, Fritz Pape, will be retiring at the end of October 2006. He has been with the company since 1966 and a member of the Executive Board for thirteen years.
Pachta-Reyhofen has worked for various MAN Group companies since 1986, both in Germany and abroad. Since 2001. he has been a member of the Executive Board at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, responsible for Technology and Purchasing.
