- 08/02/2010, MAN Diesel awarded contract in Brazil
- MAN Diesel, the Augsburg-based manufacturer of large-bore diesel engines, is very successfully expanding its power plants business even in difficult economic times. Grupo Bertin – a large international conglomerate from Brazil – awarded MAN Diesel a contract to supply the electro-mechanical equipment for six diesel power plants. These components include 120 large-bore diesel engines and generators, which together will form the heart of the plants.

- The MAN Group is reassigning its engine sales activities: MAN Nutzfahrzeuge will transfer part of its business involving high-speed engines to the group’s sister company, MAN Diesel. With effect from 1 January 2010, these activities will be integrated into MAN Diesel to form a Business Unit High Speed.

- MAN Diesel has signed a contract with the Turkish company Karadeniz Powership Company Ltd., worth over 100 million euros. The Augsburg-based manufacturer of large-bore diesel engines is to supply up to a total of 24 engines, together with electromechanical equipment needed for the generation of electricity.
- 07/09/2009, Dual-fuel Orders from Australia and Brazil
- Augsburg-based large engine manufacturer MAN Diesel has won two orders for its dual-fuel 51/60 DF engine in the power plant sector. These dual-fuel engines, which can be operated both with gas and with liquid fuel, are being sent to Brazil and Australia.
