The MAN Aktiengesellschaft maintains the museum in Augsburg. The museum's exhibits offer a journey through more than two centuries of engineering history and present today's innovative products and services. The museum shows the activities of the entire MAN Group in the form of exhibits or presentations.
The originals include the first test model of the Diesel engine produced from 1893 to 1895 by Maschinenfabrik Augsburg. Located in the same building in Heinrich-von-Buz-Straße is an historical archive containing some 1.5 million documents.
Visits and guided tours are possible by appointment.
